International Center for Kuchipudi Dance is an online institute founded by Bhavana Reddy in March 2020. Kuchipudi is a classical dance style of India originating from the temples of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the South of India.

Bhavana Reddy, an award-winning performer and founder, is the younger daughter and disciple of Drs. Raja Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy. She is the recipient of the coveted National Award Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar - the highest honour for an Indian performing artist under the age of 40.  Due to the extent of her work, the Telugu Cultural Association (Houston, Texas) awarded Bhavana a Lifetime Achievement Award – at such a young age – for her contribution to Kuchipudi dance. She is also a recipient of the FICCI Young Women Achievers Award and Femina North Powerlist Award.

Since its inception, ICKD has focused on infusing its teachings with the deeply rooted tradition of guru shishya parampara. The institution continues to grow, building upon the teachings of her gurus. Through its students, IKCD has built a living legacy of an ancient tradition, engaging students through multiple mediums during the pandemic. Smt. Bhavana Reddy's teaching philosophies have nurtured a wide range of students - both experienced and beginner - who have congregated for the first time in-person in California to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Smt. Bhavana Reddy is proud to present her disciples from across the world, including the UK, US, Oman and Europe in an in-person concert in California. She teaches students both in-person and online, and continues to work tirelessly to promote the enduring, ancient legacy of Kuchipudi.
